The draft Climate Change Bill, the first of its kind in any country was today set out by Environment Secretary David Miliband (pictured).

The draft Climate Change Bill and accompanying strategy, set out a framework for moving the UK to a low-carbon economy. Thus demonstrating the UK's leadership as progress continues towards establishing a post-2012 global emissions agreement.

Cameron Diaz has joined forces with former US vice president Al Gore to promote a new environmental awareness initiative.

A 24-hour global event, Live Earth, will start on July 7th (7.7.07) and will be similar to Bob Geldof's Live 8 concert.

Massive concerts will be held on every continent - including Antarctica - with Snoop Dogg, Kelly Clarkson and Lenny Kravitz already confirmed to play at the super-gigs.

Green MEP for London Jean Lambert calls for radical rethink over UK's 'Hothouses'.

As the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change confirms that humans are to blame for climate change a new report, 'Hothouses', from Green MEP Jean Lambert has today warned that 'without a radical rethink over the UK's housing emissions we will fail to meet targets and combat climate change'.
