Grid Connected Renewable Energy
Grid connected renewable energy systems allow electricity to be exported to, as well as imported from, the National Grid.
Many rural properties and in particular farms, are well suited to solar photovoltaics (PV) and small scale grid connected wind turbines to offset all or part of the property's annual electricity use.
Those who install these technologies using MCS approved products and installers may also benefit from the Feed in Tariff (FIT).
