Farmstream Solar Kit for Static Camera

• Solar Charge Controller (manages charging and protects battery from overcharging and deep discharge)
• 75Ah 12V sealed, maintenance free leisure battery

Please note when comparing prices that our kit includes a top quality, maintenance free 75Ah 12V leisure battery - many competitors don't include a battery in their kit! If you'd rather use your own battery choose the no battery option above (minimum 75Ah 12V Leisure battery in good condition required).

Solar Panel Position

The solar panel needs to be mounted in an unshaded, South facing position. It can be mounted flat to a South facing wall (easiest option) or onto a sloping roof. Mounts supplied are suitable for mounting to a wall or over corrugated roofing sheets (Onduline, corrugated tin or corrugated fibre cement sheets). 

The kit comes with 8m of cable to run from the solar panels back to the charge controller and 2m of cable to run from the charge controller to the battery. We can supply extension cables if required.
